Install and use

Anyone can install and use the morphological analyzer feature of Bareun. For the detailed installation process, see the Installation overview.

Bareun uses AI for analysis, so it consumes relatively more resources. For exactly this reason, it is designed to run as a separate service. Once installed as a service, it can be used reliably at an enterprise level.

Note that the Bareun spell checker is offered only as a cloud service, because it uses far more resources.

Default endpoint of the installed version

When you use the installed version, the address of every API is "IP of the installed host:5656".

If you installed it on your own PC, the host is localhost. You can also install it on another server. In that case, use the server's IP address or a host name registered with a name server.
The port is 5656.

Slow updates

Service releases go through as much stabilization as possible, considering many cases, so installed versions cannot be updated as often. If you want to try the latest updates right away, you may want to consider the cloud service.
