License
Free use
All users can use it freely. However, you must sign up at bareun.ai and get an API key. If you use the cloud service, you must pay a modest usage fee.
API key
The API key is used as follows.
- API key registration
- API key validity checks on API calls
Usage license
If you use it on a closed network, you must get a commercial license.
You can apply for a commercial license on the Bareun site above, and it must be obtained by legitimate means.
You can apply only by email at bareun.license@bareun.ai.
When you apply, you must enter the following information.
- Organization name
- Contact email
- Host information to run on, CPUID
The commercial license has the following restrictions.
- The host it can run on
- The period of use
- The minimum version it can run
If these conditions are not met, Bareun occasionally outputs a license error as a message.
License file
The license file is usually in the $BAREUN_ROOT/var directory.
The file name is license.pem.
Open source licenses
Bareun uses many open source projects and runs in that environment.
