Bareun was built from the start for enterprise environments where work must not stop.
It sits inside work that runs all day, such as document writing, customer support, and search indexing,
so "it answers whenever you ask" matters as much as analysis accuracy.
From the 2023 release to today
- Every error is detected and monitored in real time. This approach has continued from the first release in 2023 to the present.
- Continuous operation has never been broken. There has been no incident where the service stopped and users had to wait.
- When an error is found, we patch and ship it right away. We do not make you wait for the next regular release.
What keeps it from stopping

What to decide together when adopting it
- Throughput and specifications: Set the number of instances and the CPU/GPU configuration based on requests per second (System requirements, Using a GPU).
- Update cycle: Decide when and how to change models and dictionaries, and what the criteria for rolling back are.
- Monitoring metrics: Decide where to watch response time, error rate, and usage.
- Air-gapped or not: If documents are forbidden to leave, set it up as a self-hosted installation (On-premises adoption guide).

Q. How do I set up high availability?

Q. Can I change the dictionary without stopping the server?
Yes. Changes to the custom dictionary are detected in real time and applied immediately. No restart is needed.
Q. I downloaded a new model and the results look strange. What do I do?
The previous model bundle is still there, so you can roll back. Also, a model that is not compatible with the server version is not downloaded in the first place, which prevents wrong analyses from quietly going out with a mismatched combination.
